Can I read eBooks purchased from Borders on my PC, Mac or iPad?

Yes. To read eBooks purchased from Borders on your PC, Mac or iPad you will need to download and install the appropriate application from the PC, Mac & iPad apps page.

Before downloading the appropriate apps, please check the minimum system requirements to run these applications. Mac users will need to run Mac OS 10.5 or a more recent operating system. PC users will need Windows XP (with Service Pack 3 installed) or a more recent operating system such as Vista (with Service Pack 2) or Windows 7. Generally, meeting these minimum requirements is as simple as an update from Apple (for Macs) or Microsoft (for Windows). An online search will advise on the best way to go about updating your system. If you have an older system you will still be able to purchase eBooks via the website without using an app, however you will need to find an alternative to the app to download and read your eBooks, such as Adobe Digital Editions
