If you wish to read your eBooks offline, you can simply keep your Borders desktop app signed-in or you can choose to download Adobe Digital Editions, which will allow you to download a virtual copy of the eBook to your computer.

Simply sign-in to the app and then go to the desktop and download your eBooks and then press the 'HOME' button below the screen and then select the SETTINGS icon.
Within 'SETTINGS' switch 'AIRPLANE MODE' to 'ON'. This mode will allow you to read without any connectivity allowing you the ability to read your eBooks on planes and many other places not serviced with network coverage.
If you are travelling overseas or wish to store the ePub formatted eBooks in your account on the memory of your iPhone or iPad, then please follow this easy to use online guide.
The guide requires the use of a PC or Mac and initally uses Adobe Digital Editions to download the eBooks and then iTunes and the Bluefire Reader app to migrate it across to your device.
