If you wish to read your eBooks offline, you can simply keep your Borders desktop app signed-in or you can choose to download Adobe Digital Editions, which will allow you to download a virtual copy of the eBook to your computer.

Recent firmware updates to iPads may mean you device needs to be restarted if you cannot see your eBooks.
Switch off your iPad and leave it for a few seconds before restarting it.
Clear any old data in the application by undertaking this process:
1) Go into the 'SETTINGS' on your iPad and select the Borders App (under apps) in the left column;
2) Within the right column, slide the 'CLEAR LOCAL DATA' setting to 'ON';
3) Exit 'SETTINGS' by pressing on the home button below the screen and then open the Borders eReading app;
4) Sign-in to the application using your email address and password;
