Synopsis

Twenty years after immigrating to America, Nadine returns to her native Egypt . Her secret relationship with an American man, the great passion of her life, seems to have foundered on a misunderstanding. Her sons are grown and gone and all her moorings have come undone. Nadia finds herself questioning the choices she made decades ago. She is no longer sure that she belongs in her adopted land. She returns to the country of her birth to put her memories to the test and to discover for herself the definition of home and belonging.
