I bought this after reading jack king's wikijustice because i really liked it. The fifth internationale is very enjoyable in its premise: what happened to the huge army of communist spies after the the east block fell apart? Did they simply start to collect unemployment benefits? No way, according to this great novel. They grew stronger simply by not being tied to any political block, they work for their organization, the internationale. This is a good thriller, in writing resembling robert ludlum, and in pacing reminiscent of le carre.
