Synopsis

Rocks in My Head tells the story of Don Watson's life as a geologist in New Zealand and in the Australian mines. He tells some amusing stories about life in the outback and about characters he met in the course of his work. Don suffers from bipolar episodes and he tells the reader how he has lived with this and overcome its effects. Don has also taught engineering geology at Auckland University and has some stories about his own student days. This memoir provides a good read.
