Synopsis

As one of the key figures of the British Invasion and the mod movement of the mid-'60s, The Who were a dynamic and undeniably powerful sonic force. They often sounded like they were exploding conventional rock and R&B structures. At their peak, The Who were one of the most innovative and powerful bands in rock history.

This package combines the Who's 2009 Greatest Hits collection from Geffen with 2010's Greatest Hits Live in what seems like an obvious pairing. Disc one has all the hits in the original studio versions -- it†s always good to hear classics like "I Can't Explain", "The Kids Are Alright", "I Can See for Miles", "Behind Blue Eyes" and "Won't Get Fooled Again". While the second disc features many of the same songs done live from performances recorded between 1970 and 2007.
