The #1 New York Times bestseller is available for the first time in a mass market paperback edition, featuring a striking movie tie-in cover. Bella Swan's move to Forks, a small, perpetually rainy town in Washington, could have been the most boring move she ever made. But once she meets the mysterious and alluring Edward Cullen, Bella's life takes a thrilling and terrifying turn. Up until now, Edward has managed to keep his vampire identity a secret in the small community he lives in, but now nobody is safe, especially Bella, the person Edward holds most dear. Deeply romantic and extraordinarily suspenseful, Twilight captures the struggle between defying our instincts and satisfying our desires. This is a love story with bite.

takes a few chapters to get into the book. i love it and if you can get passed the writing and the fact they these vampires sparkle (i dont understand why thats such a big deal? who cares if they sparkle?) you will get into the story and find yourself reading the whole series and loving it.07/01/2011
i had heard great things about this book, but when i read it i was very disapointed. the story was boring and definitely not captivateing. I do not suggest this book to anyone. Morally it was disgusting and I put it down after the first chapter and didn't pick it back up. Definitely not worth my time!08/01/2011
this book is too popular for its own good. the writing is amateur, while the storyline is enjoyable on some level. the amateur way in which it is written along with the ridiculous storyline make it a bad read for those who realise that these arent vampires - THEY SPARKLE IN THE SUN enough said.
