Party politics and controversial theology are excluded from the debates. Strangers are admissible on the written order of any member. This will, of course, be followed by the dissolution of the Society at present bearing that name. This Society is characterized both by the respectability and number of its members, the talent of its debates, and the strict order and decorum of its proceedings.
