This is a new publishing partnership for Canongate and The Paris Review . From January 2007, Canongate will be the exclusive distributor of The Paris Review throughout the world (excluding North America). The first volume of The Paris Review Interviews will also be published in January 2007. New issue to include is: previously unpublished Joseph Heller piece and Javier Marias interview.Canongate Books has concluded a deal with the New York based literary magazine, The Paris Review , which will see the British independent co-publishing a series of books of interviews with Picador US. As part of the agreement Canongate will also become the exclusive distributor of the magazine to booksellers throughout the world, excluding North America. The Paris Review is one of the seminal literary magazines, a groundbreaking publication that has consistently, over six decades, brought great writers together from all over the world. Its legendary interview series alone represents the single most important body of work that celebrates writing about writing. Publishing quarterly, each issue is a tribute to the possibilities of the written word and under Philip Gourevitch's canny editorial leadership it looks set to continue and expand on what it has achieved in its illustrious life to date.
