Synopsis

Christians have been waiting 2000 years for the return of Jesus Christ. When Douglas Healy misses the Rapture, he dedicates his life to spreading the Gospel as he awaits the Second Coming of Christ (which will come seven years after the Rapture as foretold in the Bible). Missing the Rapture transforms Healy from a hopeless slacker to a bold evangelist, and this transformation causes him to be targeted by the police, demons, and even the Anti-Christ himself. As Healy struggles to survive in the last years and months of the Great Tribulation, he meets up with other Christians who have formed an underground network, prison guards who want to force him to take the Mark of the Beast and even sword-wielding guardian angels. With his friends dying all around him and his own life constantly in peril, Healy runs for his life and stands for his faith in a Messiah that he knows he will soon meet face to face.
