  I had my eldest son buy me this book for Xmas instead of chocolates. I have read all 8 of Monicas previous books and I like them all. Lolas Secret is a gentle story with lots of characters. Every character has secrets; none of them are perfect and most learn they cant solve their problems without a helping hand. Like life really! I will keep this book and re-read it whenever I need to relax. It has a bit of wisdom, a bit of humour and is a heart tonic. I can enjoy it over and over again unlike a single box of chocolates.
