Hell Island

Synopsis

Matthew Reilly's HELL ISLAND novella was, until now, only available for the month of the Books Alive campaign in 2005. Now, for the first time, it is available for general sale. It is an island that doesn't appear on any maps. A secret place, where classified experiments have been carried out. Experiments that have gone terribly wrong. Four crack special forces units are dropped in. One of them is a team of Marines, led by Captain Shane Schofield, call-sign: SCARECROW. Nothing can prepare Schofield's team for what they find there. You could say they've just entered hell. But that would be wrong. This is much, much worse.

Great little read, under 100 pages. Easy to read in a day. I think teenage boys would like this one, I intend to let my son read it. Having never read Matthew Reilly before I didn't know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. The action starts straight away and doesn't stop, I guess when you only have 77 pages you have to keep it short and sweet. I am definitely going to be reading more from Matthew Reilly.
