Synopsis

Nowadays firemen start fires. Fireman Guy Montag loves to rush to a fire and watch books burn up. Then he met a seventeen-year old girl who told him of a past when people were not afraid, and a professor who told him of a future where people could think. And Guy Montag knew what he had to do....

  This futuristic setting where humans no longer think for themselves and the possession of a book results in the burning of the house may be a little hard to stomach at first. The plot is unique in its own way and really makes you stop to think about where humankind is really headed.
  
  It can get confusing during the protagonist's musings and may feel like it drags on, but the overall story was enjoyable, including the philosophical aspects of the debates the characters took part in.
