Synopsis

When Eragon finds a polished stone in the forest, he thinks it is the lucky discovery of a poor farm boy; perhaps it will buy his family meat for the winter. But when the stone brings a dragon hatchling, Eragon soon realizes he has stumbled upon a legacy nearly as old as the Empire itself. Overnight his simple life is shattered and he is thrust into a perilous new world of destiny, magic and power.   - A great read for all ages, both for young adults, teens and even those who love a fantasy story here and there. Christopher Paolini, develops his characters for his first installement with such fine detail that you can visualize their exact details without the aid of a movie development. Paolini allows the reader, to step into his world with every word drawing you further and further into the world that is Alegaesia. We see how an ordinary reality can be changed so suddenly.. Each chapter has its own unique twists and Paolini has created a book that leaves you wanting more with every page. Would recommend this novel to anyone who is into a story that has all sorts, that fantasy allows writers to develop such as; Elves, Dragons, Dwarfs and much more!
