Synopsis

Six people meet in a coastal town in south west ireland. A retired irish millionaire, a retired Irish lady ex head teacher, an alcoholic Irish boat owner, A German widow with a high sex drive, sailor, a retired English naval pensioner and mammy's boy, Harry, a cockney wide boy, gambler and general waster, all in their twilight year, in the doldrums and slightly bored. There is a map dating from December 1601, and promising buried treasure. In spite of the probability that it is all fantasy, they embark on a search. During 1999 they live through interesting times, and the journey will change all their lives.
